Answer

The LLC is committed to a policy of equality of access to information and learning resources.

We work closely with Disability Services and UoD IT at the University of Dundee to ensure a co-ordinated approach to the provision of services.

UoD IT have produced a guide to provide a brief introduction to services for disabled users. If you need any help or further information please contact one of the LLC's Disability Support Officers as listed below.

Roslind Penny. Telephone 01382 384088. r.m.penny@dundee.ac.uk

Yvonne McKenzie. Telephone 01382 385258.  y.w.mckenzie@dundee.ac.uk

Disability Support Officers

Disability Support Officers (DSOs) are responsible for:

  • Supporting library users in accessing learning resources
  • Ensuring recommendations regarding extended library loan facilities are implemented
  • Disseminating information to staff in their department on all disability related issues

DSOs are Disability Services' first point of contact for any issues relating to a student who requires support in a specific area or School and are also a point of contact for a disabled student or member of staff requiring information or help.
